Rebekah Clarkson’s stories have been recognized in major awards in Australia and overseas, including the ABR Elizabeth Jolley Short Story Prize, Fish Publishing Short Story Prize, and the Bath Flash Fiction Award. Her work has appeared in publications including Griffith Review, Best Australian Stories and Something Special, Something Rare: Outstanding Short Stories by Australian Women (Black Inc.). She is the author of Barking Dogs (Simon & Schuster), a critically acclaimed short story cycle set on Peramangk land, South Australia, and co-editor of This is What it Feels Like (Recent Work Press) a collection of interweaving stories by five diverse voices, exploring identity in all its multiplicity. Rebekah has taught creative writing at several Australian Universities, the University of Texas at Austin and as guest lecturer at the University of Cambridge. She works as a senior academic learning adviser at Adelaide University.
