The 2027 ICSSE will be held from 15-20 June, 2027 at Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas, United States.
Conference registration includes all conference sessions, tea/coffee breaks, opening reception and closing banquet dinner.
Early Bird Registration closes at midnight on December 31.
Although General Registrations will continue until 14 June, 2027, in order to be included in the program, registrations must be completed by 15 May, 2027. No exceptions. If needed, onsite registration is available.
Students must bring their official Student ID Card to the registration desk to receive conference materials.

This ticket is intended for guests and others who are not registered for the full conference. Full conference registration includes admission to the closing banquet.
Enjoy lunch on campus in the Hendrix College Dining Hall (The Caf) during the conference. The Caf offers buffet-style dining with a variety of selections each day.
The $50 lunch package includes four lunch meals during June 16-19 and is valid for lunch only on the designated conference dates and cannot be used for other meals or dates. Note that the Hendrix College Dining Hall operates on prepaid-admission basis during the summer. Conference attendees who wish to eat lunch in the Caf must purchase this lunch package in advance; individual meals cannot be purchased at the door.
The Hendrix College campus is within walking distance to many restaurants. Details will be provided at the conference.
Terms and Conditions
Registration fees include conference attendance from 15 - 20 June, 2027 beginning with the opening reception (June 15) and ending with the closing dinner (June 20). Pre-conference workshops are not included with conference registration but may be added for an additional fee.
Payments are accepted by credit/debit card, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.
Your registration is not valid until you have successfully completed the entire process, paid in full and received confirmation by email.
Please note that the registration fees do not include travel expenses or hotel accommodation.
Online registration closes at 12 noon (American Central Standard Time) on Friday 1 June, 2027 after which onsite registration applies.
We understand that plans can change. Requests to cancel a conference registration must be submitted in writing by email to shortstoryconference@gmail.com.
60 or more days before the conference: Full refund, less a $25 administrative fee.
30–59 days before the conference: 50% refund.
Fewer than 30 days before the conference: No refunds will be issued.
This policy applies to conference registration fees and optional workshop fees. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
If the conference is canceled by the organizers, registration and workshop fees will be refunded in full.

You are also consenting to receive email marketing communications about the conference and post conference associatedindustry material.
Please be advised that filming and/or photography will be taking place at the conference. By registering for the conference you are giving your consent for the photographer, ICSSE, Hendrix College, and the Hendrix-Murphy Foundation to take the images and to use them throughout the world in all and any media, including, without limitation, in printed publications, presentations, promotional material or online, in their original format or edited.
