Pai Chiao holds a dual degree in Slavic literature and advertising from National Chengchi University and pursued a master’s degree in Slavic studies from Sorbonne Université. Among other literary honors, he has received first prize at the China Times Literary Awards and the Chung Chao-cheng Literary Awards. His works have appeared in all of Taiwan’s major literary journals and media. His collected short stories were published as Doomsday Storeroom and his collected essays as Wind, Vine, Snow, and Silk, as Moscow Lovers, his latest novel as Paris Rāgarāja.
